Oh my gosh, the year of 2010 is winding down and I don't even have any new pictures to post. I have lots of projects underway, but still are UFO's... The story of my life!!! But really, aren't we all UFO's... We just keep learning new things and doing new things every day. The weather is strange here as the temp is above freezing tonight, and is to have rain and freezing rain for the next 2 days. Then back to the deep freeze... Glad that I'm not going anywhere for a big New Years Party. My DD told me that I was invited to go to very nice supper club just about a mile from home for New Years dinner. early...
One of my homemakers brought over a whole sack of camouflage neck bands for me to sew. Our club makes them for our soldiers over seas. I'm so happy to be helping... I have my GS's quilt top almost done, the squares, and have the backing to put on it to quilt. Just put on the leaders on my quilt frame and will practice on his quilt to be my first one done on it. I'm so excited to finally be doing something on the quilt frame. There's nothing like going by the seat of your pants to learn something. I've been watching all the utubes and videos that I've came on to learn how to load it and to do the quilting. It will be original-----
Don't need to make any bows till in Jan. for a competition.
I will be having my surgery on my feet Jan 20th, so will be able to have lots of sewing time, when I cann't get out and about. Am planning ahead!!!
I'm really amazed at the things that I've worked on this past year. Could have done so many more things and didn't post many. I'm getting to love blogging. Who knew"""""
Molly, my dog, is laying by my feet with one of her new Christmas toys between her front legs as tho it's her baby. It's a plush monkey that has squeekies in his paws and she just loves him. If I ask her to go get her baby, she brings it back to me. So much company.
Molly
